Welcome to the Prometheus Tax Home page
Prometheus Tax is a UK based boutique tax consultancy practice providing advice on, and solutions to, complex tax issues to entrepreneurs, businesses and individuals. Our business is to provide bespoke advice to our clients to assist them in achieving their commercial objectives in the most tax efficient way. The practice is named after the ancient Greek Titan-god of forethought and crafty counsel as that epitomises our approach to tax advice.
The practice is run by Jon Fursdon who has over 30 years of experience in the UK tax profession having previously been a tax partner with large accountancy firms Deloitte, Grant Thornton and boutique tax specialist BKL Tax.
Our clients cross a wide range of industries across the UK with Prometheus having extensive experience across the property, business media and shipping industries. Through a network of like-minded independent tax advisers in other countries we are able meet the needs for international tax advice from our largest international clients.
Although we are primarily a tax focused practice we are also chartered accountants and in conjunction with an affiliated practice we are able to offer a wider range of accountancy services including outsourcing of clients’ accounting functions.
We are founder members of the Global Tax Network and the Global Shipping Tax Network.
